The Navy Yard is open for public visitation Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Get Directions») Outside of these hours, access is limited to tenants, their employees and guests. All visitors should enter via the main gate on Broad Street. Visitors are welcome to explore unrestricted areas of The Navy Yard campus, but going aboard docked ships is strictly prohibited.

Parking The Navy Yard provides free, convenient parking for all visitors, employees and businesses.

Transit and The Navy Yard Shuttle The Navy Yard is well-served by mass transit. The Navy Yard Shuttle, Rt. 71, is a dedicated bus line serving The Navy Yard businesses, providing direct service every 20 minutes during weekday hours from Pattison Avenue, via Rt. 17 and the Broad Street Subway. On weekends and holidays, the Rt. 17 bus line services The Navy Yard.
